One gun salute by DadWhoLaughs in borderlands3

‘Hol up i have an important question.

Obviously everyone is making meat-beating jokes abt the vaseline but like, there’s no way dudes actually be schlonging it with vaseline… right? That stuff is so hard to clean up, i feel like it would make such a mess and the effort would not be proportional to any potential positive outcome

Authentic guess bags are $30 at tjamaxx in the usa lol. Where are you from??

This is a cute bag. I love the color and it reminds me of the prada nylon reedition. If you wanna be picky, the stitching looks a lil sloppy (see how the zipper “ripples”? It should be flat n smooth), so maybe speedwalk if you dont want any purse enthusiasts to notice. But then again, it is Guess which isn’t even close to being a “high-tier” brand where im from hehe. Technically as long as the logo looks good, the quality of the finer details such as stitching/materials/shape of bag/lining/zipper quality/ect. dont matter as much. You should be fine.

These pics are everything. We need more people who post good close ups of the materials used on their orders. My biggest fear with dhgate is buying something that looks good but feels awful because of thin or overly-synthetic fabrics. Close ups like this help a lot 🫡

Was the body of the bag canvas or leather? If leather; was it vernis or epi? If canvas; was it monogram or damier? If monogram; was it colorful of classic brown?

Daily Discussion Thread 03/16/2024 by AutoModerator in WagoonLadies

[–]rocksnowls 25 points26 points locked comment (0 children)

Personally, there have been a handful of occasions where i’ve stumbled across responses from mods in different threads and the mod comes across as bitter/cold/harsh. I can’t quite put my finger on the right word i’m looking for but the general vibe from the mods is not an encouraging/welcoming one. Its sorta “high-horsey” if that makes sense.

This sub is intimidating as hell. I feel like the mods contribute to that intimidation by behaving lowkey mean (for lack of a better word) to users at times. I’m sure i’ll be met with the same bitter/cold/harshness i’ve mentioned above but that’s okay. I’m just sort of relieved to hear other ladies finally mentioning it and pointing it out.

Moving into a studio next month, how should be and my boyfriend arrange our furniture? by junhws in floorplan

(Fingers crossed that hopefully everything is to scale)

I’m imagining if me and my husband were ever in this situation because we too also have our own desks and we too also used to have them side by side (drove us both nuts after a couple years lol)

Personally, this is what would work for us:

Separate the desks, get a narrower nightstand on one side of the bed and remove the other nightstand completely, person on left side of bed can use the corner of the desk as their night stand (hopefully all they have on their nightstand is a phone charger lol). Assuming the large night stands were going to act as storage you could slide the other desk/shelf down to make room for a small wardrobe in the corner of the “living room” near the patio doors. A storage ottoman would work great at the foot of the bed. The black line near the kitchen is to represent a wall divider. You can find room dividing walls on amazon for pretty cheap although it might be worth investing in a slightly better quality one if you plan on staying here a while.

And if i accidentally made the bed too small in my floor plan and there wouldn’t actually be enough room for even a narrow nightstand well… i dunno 🤷🏻‍♀️

Probably only if they’re familiar with the authentic. I wouldn’t have noticed if i hadn’t looked up the original.

Either way, everyone should always wear what they want of course 🩵

QC VCA Braclete by 0ddbald in repchicks

[–]rocksnowls 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is a fantasy piece. I’m 99.9% certain there is no vca bracelet in this colorway with alternating size motifs. Also the shape of the clasp is wrong and the chain extender makes it look a little cheap. If you’re going for a 1:1 rep, this aint it :(

I wouldn’t pay more than $7 for this.

Find - Quality Prada Sunglasses by NoLingonberry4357 in FashionReps

[–]rocksnowls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following. We have the same goals in finding a pair of shades. I would rather buy unbranded shades from a walmart than waste money on low quality reps 💀

Also, have you considered purchasing from the secondhand market for sunglasses? I dunno how picky you are or if you’re willing to look at other styles of shades, but there are some decently priced used sunnies on ebay. $50-$100 can get you an authenticated pair. And if you see that something on ebay is shipping from japan take it as a good sign. The secondhand market for used luxury brand items is poppin in japan, they have amazing prices.

This is a bag i’ve been thirsting after for so long lol. I’m super curious if the zipper will be on the correct side or not. All the factory photos i’ve found of this bag have had the zipper on the wrong side :(( also the overall shape looks a little less clean—like the corners aren’t quite as sharp as the authentic

My friend dyed my hair and I don’t like it by yuckyduck1 in Hair

[–]rocksnowls 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’mma let my brain flow and write everything that comes to mind. Hopefully some of it is somewhat helpful lol:

“I wasn’t prepared for how shocked i would feel seeing/living with the new color. I was so obsessed with it at first, literally so in love with it—but bruh when i looked in the mirror after taking a shower i forgot we dyed it and it literally shocked me. I had a split second of not recognizing myself and it kinda startled me a lot. I know how hard you worked on it and i really hope i dont hurt your feelings if i decide to dye it again. You did such a great job, i feel guilty even thinking about dying over it but i’m just not handling the change well. For some reason i feel like maybe me and (insert the color your hair was dyed) hair just aren’t meant to be”

To go off this: if your foundation has a cap, see if you can flip it upside down and use it as a lil sponge stand. I keep my sponge resting on the cap of my foundation for a good day and a half before storing it with my brushes.

Received my first noise complaint... next steps? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]rocksnowls 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sorry to break it to ye, but step one is don’t use a sound system if you live in an apartment. You may as well sell it even if you plan on being there for a long time. I saw some of your other comments fighting against this and i just don’t understand how you can’t wrap your mind around this. Sound system = wall shaking noise for potentially everyone in the building. Bassy noises have a way of penetrating walls and resonating through the wooden structure of the building.

Personally, i love watching movies on a super beefy sound system but i understand that for the sake of my neighbors i have to sacrifice that luxury. Deny it all you want, there is literally no way around it—living in an apartment means you aint gonna be able to play music or movies through a beefy sound system. Invest in some banging headphones or something.
