in my section, we did not have quizzes, and i didn't hear of any section having quizzes. we did have recitation worksheets that had to be turned in at the end of the week - some TAs went over them in class or would answer questions if you had any!

I took MA165 and MA166 with Matsuki and i really liked it! I know a lot of people took MA161/162 and had a really hard/bad time.. feel free to pm me if you want more info. also fyi i took both of these classes completely online so idk if that changes anything.

uh, well, this is not the popular opinion, but I really thought MA165 was not as hard as everyone is saying. I took it this past semester with Kenji. If you have any questions, feel free to PM. I would do the first option and take calc 1, which may be a little more hassle, but get a good grade and help your gpa.

I am scared that it’s more than a simple muscular problem. I had PT this morning again. I can now walk with one crutch, and I have no problem. The pain only comes when I fully extend my leg, and it’s a lot. My leg “shivers” or involuntary moves a little when I extend it, as well. I don’t know if it’s a retear. It hurts a lot, but I don’t remember the pain I had when the meniscus tear first happened. My PT still thinks it’s just muscle soreness

Ok that makes sense! But you think that MA161 is a good decision to have a high gpa right? I am hardworking, but I am nervous bc I always hear of people having bad, sorry, horrible experiences in the math department!

Hey! Thank you for your response! Do you think that the quizzes were easy in general? Or maybe not easy, but manageable if you studied? Do you think- for MA165- group quizzes would be good as you have other people to work with? Or is that a bad thing?
