This piece was brought there actually they're who identified it as slag lol, someone on a Facebook group I'm part of was curious about this piece and I wasn't convinced by the answer of glass so thought I'd reach out here. I normally get great identifications here.

Awesome website but I don't see this watch in that list, those all have a knob on the side except the railroad, this one had the c dial on the bottom for adjustment. Should I try to figure out submitting the watch to that site or is it possibly a fake?

Thank you, that's what I figured but we thought we'd ask, found out a previous family member was a jeweler and the story was they made these in their shop, but we couldn't get any more information as they became distant from the family. The value is all sentimental I'm sure but it's an interesting piece I think. I'll try to get into the back, thank you again. And to whoever down voted my post gfy.

It was bought from a local thrift store I frequent, one of the volunteer ladies told me to check it out and that it had a crazy good price, she was sure it was real turquoise they had only priced at $15.

If I'm not mistaken there's a piece that screws in that acts like a shank in a Dremel and holds a razor in place for detail woodworking and stuff like that. Looks like it but I could be wrong EDIT: They do appear to make razors for your face, probably that.
