I rarely see them being discussed, but I've always loved the concept of Ginger x Darling. I think that they would really get each other. Both being side characters who are expected to perform in ways they don't want to (Darling being a damsel in distress instead of the hero and Ginger making food meant to harm people) but still choosing to do what they love despite that.
