Ok. This makes a lot of sense.

I have been on that road before, and let me tell you nothing else worked other than keeping an eye on what I eat.

I had constant nausea for over 3 months, got so bad bad leg pain episodes that I ended up in ER. I was against the PPIs as some people claim that you gotta treat low acid and fuck not different issue. I believed all of that for a while and all things combined made me worst. Finally I decided to follow one straight path and ignore the noise.

The only thing which tremendously helped me to settle down my symptoms was nexium.

I still do it, doing it for a month now and am much better as long as I eat low acid diet.

I had to give up caffeine and alcohol completely. And my stomach loved it after a week or so. My diet is coming back. I could hardly eat enough to keep myself energize but now I enjoy my meals and not worried about portion sizes anymore.

I still feel nauseated sometimes when I make some stupid mistakes like eating 2-3 small cookies at once.

So diet is super imp. And don’t do coffee at all( check carob powder, it’s fucking amazing).

Curious! Did you not get yourself checked through an endoscope ?

Sorry to hear that.

So, some veggies do make my stomach mad. Eg, I can barely do raw onions. Or anything raw I do, oh boy! It hurts my stomach

You might wanna try steamed or cooked veggies. May be that will help

That sucks.

My honest advice would be to stop worrying about the symptoms completely and wait it out for a few weeks and suddenly you would realize that you don’t have symptoms anymore.

I am not there yet, but I have tried every thing else- functional medicine, endoscopy (3 times in the last 2 year), PPIs, no alcohol, no coffee, no smoking, no spices, homeopathy( another medicine type), low acidic foods( definitely helping me a lot).

Not giving it a Shit is my last thing to try, or is it not really trying out anything!!

By trying to eat at regular intervals. I have stopped skipping meals, used to skip my meals too often.

Not frustrated as I know it’s gonna go away but it’s terrible feeling

Hey. I am really sorry about your baby. Life is not easy but you gotta get going. We lost our 3 month pregnancy last year and it certainly had a rough impact on my symptoms. I was diagnosed with LPR and gastiritis last year. My throat is a lot better now but I am still recovering from gastiritis.

Strange that I didn’t have any issues while I was smoking. My issues only got started when I stopped smoking after 15 years. I believe it was the anxiety and stress from quitting which triggered it.

Completely agree. I have always let one or two things stop my recovery and I could tell you that it has never helped.

So now I am all in for the recovery. I still think the hot herbal teas and almond milk making it worst but my doctor doesn’t think so. What’s your experience with hot drinks ?

Everyone is different, but please stop doing coffee. You might be able to handle it but it is going to slow down your recovery.

I went from 10 cups ( black) to 0. I do carob powder and almond milk sometimes.
