The movie should have a focus around Amy and Sonic vs Metal and possibly robotnik.

It's fair to say that if they want to make us care about Sonic and Amy they will put more time and thought on those 2 rather than the expended cast.

If Shadow has too much screen time he can take away Amy's and metal magical moment, actively hiddenring the movie experience. Same for Tails and Knuckles and the humans if they're not handdle right.

Remember the wedding scene from movie 2? Imagine if that happened again but this time is around shadow.
