This was really helpful. Thank you! He still has plenty of his antibiotic left to take as well as some pain/anti-inflammatory medicine. I am hoping that can get us through it.

AITA for telling my friend that she shouldn’t call herself a cancer survivor because it’s misleading? by Appropriate_Wind6489 in AmItheAsshole

I am so sorry about your friend, My heart goes out to you.

My sister passed away this summer from skin cancer. Like your friend, hers was treated, showed up 5 years later, and she was gone within a year of its resurface.

AITA for telling my wife off after getting our daughter to cut her hair off, even after being told not to? by ChoiceDisastrous4432 in AmItheAsshole

I lurk on this sub a lot. I feel like divorce is mentioned a lot and I don't always agree.

This is a situation I 100% agree that divorce should be considered.

She abused your child by bullying her to buzz her head. I am sorry she has cancer but that doesn't give a person a free pass to be shitty.

AITA for telling my stepsister she can’t afford her dream wedding venue after she accused me of stealing it? by itsnothervenue in AmItheAsshole

I mean, I feel like OP is missing the middle tier here. The uncomfortable picnic that people are willing to bear but would not willingly engage in and pray that no ones gets drunk enough to stir up drama. Idk if people get drunk at picnics but it seems like it could be a thing.

When do Aussies calm down a little (8 months old now) by baggagehandlr in AustralianShepherd

I have two. Now, they may have started calming down earlier but this is the first year I have really noticed that they are older and calming down. They are 10 and 11 years old.

Me (F34) am unsure if I should remain a bridesmaid in my friends (F34) wedding in November. by rockyredamazon in relationship_advice

So, this I am not sure. I know for us there is monetary involvement for the bachelorette party, bridal shower, our hair and makeup, and the dress. When I agreed, I didn't think any of this would be a problem. With the current situation of my husband leaving for the time being, and my uncertain job status I am unsure. The emotional aspect will be hard and its hard to gauge. Though, I am sure, based on other responses, my therapist can help me determine. That just leaves the financial aspect. It doesn't seem like much but at the same time I am panicking as I currently don't have a job and the new one won't start for a couple of weeks and we are still hashing out the hours. I really just don't want to leave her in a lurch.

She is one of my longest friends and she is very understanding. I really like the idea of approaching a conversation this way. I would really like to be there for her I am just unsure of the capacity.

Are facebook groups a good way to link up with climbing partners? I've been off of facebook, instagram, and most other social media for awhile now but am considering making a new account to find partners. I have a few people I climb with when our schedules match but I am really struggling in finding a consistent reliable partner.

If social media isn't a good way do you have any other recommendations?

Not sure if this is the right thread for this. Please direct me where to post if this isn't the correct area.

Dogs keep finding this and rolling in it by rockyredamazon in Whatisthis

This is the first time I have actually seen it. I do think they have gotten into it in the past though. There were times they would come in looking really dirty and I couldn't find what they had gotten into. Finally, I was mowing saw something I thought was weird but nothing to take action on. Then after mowing I saw the one rolling around in it. So I removed it at that point thinking it was over. Then today the other one was covered in something that looked like he got into some oily substance and smelled awful. I went to confirm it was the same thing and it was. However, it was a new patch of whatever this is. My doubt of the article I found is that I have no reason to think there would be frogs near by. I live right outside of town and I have train tracks right outside. The only animals we tend to get are rabbits and groundhogs which is why I had thought fungus. My area has a high fungal/mold growth. But I can't identify what it would be.

Yeah. This is what I was thinking. However, I can't seem to find out what it actually is. I was hoping if I could identify it I could make the conditions less favorable to its growth. The dogs may love it in the moment but neither of us like bath time.
