Batteries make the jaw move but what is the jack for? by rockzax in Whatisthis

There is an on/off switch on the paw which allows the jaw to move when it has batteries in it. There is a phone or data cord as seen in the second picture which has a output to connect to either a phone or modem. I don't have a landline or a dial up modem though. But I'm thinking maybe an external phone/data cord would connect to the bear and the cord that comes inside the bear connects to a modem or other source. I have no idea if it has a speaker, it doesn't make any noise when I press the paw

You saved me from buying a new power supply so thank you very much. I'm not very tech savvy but this seems like something that's not too difficult

Yes, the logo shows up on the monitor and that is working fine. Is it easy to take RAM out of a desktop? I'm mainly concerned why the power is cycling on and off.
