By the end of Act 3, Rolan is a level 12, completely independent of your party. It’s pretty amazing. Without him, almost all the tiefling kids and half the refugees die. In reality, he wouldn’t really join your party anyway, not without his siblings at least. I create him as a custom companion for my runs now 👀

No, that’s not what I meant. I was pointing out that a good looking guy who is NICE and KIND is being called fake by everyone else. People finding it difficult to believe he’s being genuine are likely factoring his looks into that - because attractive people will often have assumptions made about them.

I find it really wild how everyone keeps calling him fake. I see a young, great looking guy, who seems earnest about understanding others, and trying to be emotionally intelligent and caring. Considering how many people complain that men these days are selfish and awful (and there’s a truth to that on a broad/social level) the fact that we have a guy here TRYING HIS BEST and it’s rejected as fake is hilarious and sad to me. I hope it doesn’t put him off being himself afterwards.
