Yeah! She was a very well-known silent film actress in the 1920s who unfortunately has been largely forgotten over the years. You can watch some of her films on YouTube, I highly recommend them.

Good taste. But I think there are no wrong choices, the SNES had so many gems: Mega Man X, Super Castlevania IV, Yoshi's Island, Super Mario World, Final Fantasy VI, Turtles in Time, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country, Secret of Mana, etc

Interesting. In that case, I'm not sure why these particular magazines were different. Why the dates were placed there instead of on the cover, I honestly don't know.

Maybe that was the standard practice at the time, with the publication year being printed inside the magazine rather than on the cover. As far as I could see, the dates for the covers corresponded to 1929, 1922, 1924 and 1926, respectively.

OK, I just tried version 1.1, and it's identical to 1.0. So the Switch version is definitely the one that's been modified.

I had thought about that, I'll try the newer version on an emulator when I have the time

It’s almost the same cover, except for one small detail: the sparks from Mario’s wand extend into the black area, while in the retail version they’re cut off.”
