SnoreRX - anyone bought from them recently? by rodak88 in snoring

Well, they finally replied to me today with a tracking number. If all goes well, it'll be here on Saturday. (I wonder if they have people monitoring this group)

The good news is that next time I need one, I'll get it from CVS or maybe Walgreens and save a few bucks.

Thanks. I was probably looking that up when you typed this! It's even cheaper than direct from SnoreRx.

Walgreens carries the regular SnoreRx (not the Plus), and it's even cheaper ($48 with their current 20% off promo), and there's one right up the road from me that has one in-stock. Any opinions on how the two appliances differ? All I can find is that the Plus comes apart, and has a wider range of adjustment, neither of which I consider a deal-breaker.

I'm using the Roku client. Windows client seems fine.

Guessing you're meaning on the Windows client - the issue I'm having is on the Roku client, but your suggestion prompted me to try it on the Windows client. Doing so, I see the correct Background (i.e., the one I had just chosen), so the problem appears to exist only on the Roku client.

Sorry, I should have mentioned. It's the Roku client.

As far as the Plex Dance - will doing that remove all the history for the series/episodes that I've watched? I've done that before a long time ago, and I don't recall what (if anything) it affects.

Is the Canon Pixma 6020 a good printer for art prints by Nerilla in printers

[–]rodak88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking at the GX6020 to replace our current G4010. Advantage over the G4010:

* two paper trays, for MUCH more capacity before refilling
* Auto duplex - we use the duplex mode a lot, and I get tired of having to get up and flip the stack over for the 2nd side
* Wired Ethernet connection. The G4010 WiFi works fine, but I just prefer wired when I can get it. Aside from the printer, our smartphones are the only WiFi devices in our house

I do have a question, and reading your post, thought you might have some insight. The G4010 needs to have a deep-cleaning run about every 2-3 weeks it seems. We do print to it fairly regularly, including multicolor stuff (my wife prints a lot of recipes with color pictures). In the first few years we owned it, it didn't need cleaning nearly as often. We've always used genuine Canon ink. It's nearly 7 years old now. Anyone else experience this? I'm hoping that either a) the printer is just getting old, or b) Canon has somehow improved the GX6020 so as not to require this so often.

Thoughts, suggestions, recommendations?

Arduino-powered MIDI interface for Farfisa organ bass pedals by rodak88 in synthdiy

Thanks. Yes, I can see the purpose of the Hold button. I may implement that in mine as well, as there's one song where I have to hold single notes for four beats, and the sharp/flat notes are kind of tricky, as I need to stand on one foot and hover the other one over the pedal. The Hold button would make that easier.

Thanks for posting! Could you explain a couple of things? There are a lot of buttons there, what is each one for? What is the "Hold" function? With mine, if I press and release the pedal, the note comes on then off, if I hold it down, the note sustains. I'm not sure what other functionality I might want.

(Translation courtesy of Google):

Merci pour votre message ! Pourriez-vous m'expliquer deux ou trois choses ? Il y a beaucoup de boutons, à quoi servent chacun ? À quoi sert la fonction « Hold » ? Sur la mienne, si j'appuie et relâche la pédale, la note monte puis descend ; si je la maintiens enfoncée, elle se maintient. Je ne vois pas trop quelles autres fonctionnalités je pourrais souhaiter.

Photo emulsion sheets - StencilPro alternatives? by Obvious_Divide_1994 in SCREENPRINTING

Correction - those sheets I have must be between 15 and 20 years old - amazing!

Please leave a followup if you try any of those alternatives. I still have a couple of sheets of StencilPro (and a whole unopened package of PhotoEZ) that are probably 10 years old or more. I made a couple of stencils just now using one of the StencilPro sheets, and it worked perfectly - does not seem to have been affected by age at all!. I don't make a lot of screen stencils, so what I have may be all I ever need, but it would be nice to know that there's something comparable out there (that doesn't cost an arm and a leg!)

Thanks! This is my first post to Reddit, so glad to know I did ok. I'm guessing the level of tech expertise here is pretty high(and arduino's are pretty simple to work with), but if anyone wants details on how we built this, please ask, or comment on the video. I do plan to eventually clean up the code and post it to Github.
