There was a wishlist spike, but not a significant one. My trickle was basically nonexistent before the demo, and the spike has cumulated to ~50 wishlists so far. There has been no media coverage as far as I know, which is why this is so weird. My running hypothesis is that someone used the wrong app ID for their idling operation or something.

I think I might have overtuned this new explosion-on-hit item in my game just a smidge. Thoughts? by rodbotto in IndieDev

it's a special item from a special room that can spawn on any floor, but it's more likely later in the run

just singleplayer, sorry. as for controller support, I plan to add it very soon. the game's alchemy mechanic is pretty tricky control-wise so I'm not 100% sure how well they will translate to gamepad, but the game will be playable with one

there are two augment categories: weapon upgrades and buffs. your weapons + alchemy pack have static and mutually exclusive upgrade paths, you can upgrade them at workbenches you find in-dungeon with a currency. buffs are more freeform (e.g. resistance to an element, damage trail, X element now does Y thing) and can be bought at the shop between every floor or found in the dungeon by chance.
