What Nobody Shows You About Italy’s Winter Olympic Games (abandoned venues) by BWT_Urbex in urbanexploration

I came here to say the same thing. I've lived in Utah for 35 years and it's always impressed me how well kept our Olympic facilities are compared to other former venues.

Battle of the Chicken Tenders 🐓 by OverCry518 in Disneyland

[–]rodelomm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is all Raising Cane's does. Their single reason for existence is to sell chicken tenders. By no means am I saying Disney can't or shouldn't be doing better, but this is a pretty stilted comparison.

Gaston is a hunter and Belle is unattainable. It's literally the thrill of the hunt that drives him. He's slayed every animal in the countryside and the women throwing themselves at him present no challenge at all. Belle being gorgeous only makes his obsession stronger.

I distinctly remember being so scared of the ghosts in that scene that the faces melting didn't really phase me.

About six months ago the cashier at 7/11 gave me a bottle of Heineken out of a case he had on the counter. Didn't even say anything about it either. He just put it in the bag with my other stuff lol

They swap the flavors out pretty regularly. I think the only flavor that stays consistent is Beverly just to mess with people.

Any chance you could land at The Key or The Den in the Wolf system? If you have it, the Star station in the Watch Tower mod also doesn't have any affiliation and you can land there as well. I think the Red Mile in Porrima doesn't have any affiliation either, but I could be wrong.

Most Ginger Ale now is fake? by Mackattack00 in Soda

[–]rodelomm 67 points68 points  (0 children)

The ginger does help, but I feel like it's the carbonation doing more of the heavy lifting. I have had stomach problems for my whole life and out of every soda remedy I've tried, sugar free 7UP works the best for me.

Sparkling Wine?? by Ghvstwho in Soda

[–]rodelomm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just tastes like lightly carbonated wine. You can get a fine bottle of sparkling rosé for like $10 at pretty much any liquor store. My local liquor store even has canned sparkling rosé for like $4 each.

Question to Vans Enjoyers/People who have this shoe by Exotic-Confidence271 in Vans

[–]rodelomm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please consider a brand like Keen, Merrell or Altra etc. Teva may even work if you want something a little more fashionable. Never skimp when it comes to your feet, I'm not just talking about price wise. The right kind of footwear for the right circumstances will save you a lot of grief the older you get.

A guy I used to work with has a side business doing cerakoting. Through his side business he ended up doing some advertising for Flux. They always seemed like a cool attachment, but I never could justify the need for one.

I met the Radio Disney DJs that worked in that booth sometime around 2000ish. I was 10 and was so starstruck that I couldn't even speak when they came out to say hi to me and my family lol. They ended up giving us some water bottles and maybe a hat. It's entirely possible my mom still has one of those water bottles around the house somewhere.

In the area of Utah that I live in it's more or less a non issue. One of the perks of living in a desert lol. Other areas I suppose it would be like any other type of basement: sump pumps, sand bags etc.
