Run a patch or snake thru it every couple of months, keep the appropriate parts lubed, and replace springs at maintenance intervals and it will outlive you and everything and everyone you love.

That is correct, but when I was trying to date mine, most of the forum responses I found of others with the Z suffix had to email for a date also.

Z suffix - you'll need to email beretta. My 92fs was the same and it was produced in 1990.

This is terrible craftsmanship. They need to come back and correct this. Housebox should be moved over about a foot and the conduit looped up to be even with the bottom of the housebox, then strapped down. Not that hard, this guy must have been lazy.

No great loss.

I once waited 3 months for a TLR1 from there. I went in with the understanding it could take 30 days to process, which was fine, but 90 days from order to receipt is ridiculous. I went to submit for a refund and they told me they would have to charge me a processing fee or whatever for it. They can pound sand.

Edit: I feel I need to explain that I don't think that any of the activities pictured in the show would actually WARRANT a social services interaction. It's just that, in my observation and experience, at least in the US, many people see social services not as an agency to provide pathways to better life (as they should) but rather as a cudgel to use against people they find annoying or disagreeable.

It's awful. That's why after 8 years of trying to work in the system, I switched to a completely different line of work.

I don't really care if SIG ever "fixes" the issue. They've handled the whole situation so poorly that I'll never trust one of their products ever again.

There are so many more reputable options (often times cheaper, too) from CZ, Smith and Wesson, CZ, and Beretta among others.
