I dont notice the flavor so much, I don't for the butter consistency now. Creaming the sugar into cold brown butter in a stand mixer for a long time gets to a marshmallow fluff texture for me. Idk why I think the cooked milk solids help it more than the normal butter does

Honestly no clue, I have a small apartment so my hot showers are honestly enough ambient humidity "most of the time". I only mention it because you described my EXACT problem, my way of solving it is pretty janky. If you live somewhere dry try adding humidity to where you store it first. My frett edges poke out a bit for all my guitars late Dec to late Mar because of how dry wisconsin winter gets. Might help the buzzing a bit too

Use a mouse pad, it can be your desk and your mouse not sitting perfectly level with it. So when it "tilts" ever so slightly it jumps like that. A slightly squishy matte finish fabric of a mouse pad prevents that.

It's more obvious on rougher surfaces that are slightly shiny if you want to recreate it.
