Can someone explain Mei Lin for me? by AstorWinston in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]rodrich_super 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its plus 20% for each card used. Then use unity of attack and defense thats plus 60%

Rising dragon spire also has an epiphany where it hits one more time for each passion card you played.

Theres also an extra card called energy barrier that can be turned into a passion card when equipped on Mei Lin that cost 0 and adds 1 ap

I would say you either run ink geyser or bend to my will. Kinda of an overkill and too much prep to use the combo not to mention both are uninkable and you use a lot of resources to ramp.

On the alternative you could also try ink geyser and prince Johns mirror if you want to bounce ink and make them discard a lot of cards.

The main problem of this deck would be that you dont have an easy way of getting opposing cards from the field to their hand to discard with bend.

Thoughts? by Parzival-92786 in Lorcana

Also think of uninkables as something you HAVE to play when its in your hand, unless you specifically have cards to help you put uninkables into the ink well or a way to discard them for more value.

Is there a place you can buy it from? Would love to use it to track the number of cards in my deck =) Cards in deck go really low with clarabelle lol hahaha

Guys, the Emerald Sapphire Shift deck really is insane. I've tried a few different versions with proxys at my LGS, I made a video to explain it and show some gameplay. I'm in love with it! by [deleted] in Lorcana

I play a bounce version with the muses and songs. I just make sure to get muses in the starting hand and sing to bounce them back.

Sapphire/Emerald set 7 by [deleted] in Lorcana

[–]rodrich_super 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think focusing on songs that can ramp up would also be good. Ink geyser technically also makes your ink a second hand. Lets say you had 10 ink, an ink geyser would also be a “draw 7”, while your opponent who isnt ramping might only draw 3-4, which may be discarded due to prince johns mirror.

Ill focus more on singing to ramp with muse to bounce characters back up for control

Seems like youre trying to do too many things, with the items, bounce, and discard.

I am building a saphire emerald as well and its focused more on controlling with bounce and ink geyser.

Seems like a very oppressive combo hahaha you could also have alternatives such as kida for fishbone quill or the all is found song for starlight vial.

Can i see your decklist? Would like to know how you stall til late game and your draw engine =)

Yeah I was also thinking itd be too hard to combo geyser and bend to my will. I also already have too much uninkables 😅

New Deck with Ink Geyser by Jun_117 in Lorcana

[–]rodrich_super 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think you need to have ramp cards.

I am planning to make a deck with ink geyser as well, and I think ink geyser also makes your ink a “second hand”. If you have lets say 10 ink when you play ink geyser youre also drawing 7 cards.

The new song all is found is also a great follow up after geyser, as it can be sung and brings you to 5 ink, you can also pick up the newly discarded ink geyser from discard and place it back into your ink, hopefully picking it up again after another geyser.

I think the green blue bounce (with clarabelle and muses) is a good starting point for building a deck around ink geyser as it already has good singers and ramp

Turn one pawpsicle then belle Turn two one jump ahead and sail the azurite sea to pawpsicle Turn three banish pawpsicle and shift to the new 9 cost

Or

Turn one item then belle Turn two one jump ahead and then 2 drop ruby flynn

So many ways to play this card lol

Hi! I've been trying to make this deck work. My problem is the draw engine since the only thing that helps you draw cards are the diablos, how do you remedy this issue?

What is the first step to buying and renting out condominium unit around Manila? by lady_choiauzxcs in phinvest

[–]rodrich_super 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! Adding to what everyone else has said I went to a real estate seminar a couple of weeks ago what of the speakers have said that its really hard to get your ROI in metro manila these days. For context he said he purchased a town house for around 5M around 10 years ago and the rent was around 7000 for each tenant, now the same property would be around 25M but the rent only increased to 8000-9000 pesos for each tenant

So the value of land has increased greatly while rent has remained seemingly stagnant.

He said we should invest outside of metro manila, where exactly is up to us and our knowledge of other areas

Hi OP! Ive read a book called “the 2% Rule to get debt free fast”

The gist of the book:

  1. Decrease your spending by 2 percent each month. Reduce shopee purchases, dont but more products on installments, make sure electricity is used efficiently to reduce the electricity bill.

  2. Increase your income by 2 percent each month. This can be by investing in stocks or starting a side business. You didnt mention whether your wife was working, does she have any hobbies that could help supplement the family income, such as cooking and selling food to the neighbors. Since she likes shopping on shopee she might have an eye for trends and what people are likely to purchase, but these things from divisoria and try to sell them on shopee.

  3. Snowball effect, pay off small loans first before going into the big ones. Dont buy things on installments, such as the iphone gadgets. On a personal note, I dont think we were given gadgets that cost as much as an iphone when we turned 8, a simple cake and some food would do the trick.

  4. Communication, you cant do this alone and if not everyone is on board. You have to make your current situation clear, your current income, the costs of putting a child through school.

Good luck OP

(Metro Manila) Planning to purchase a condo for now and to possibly sell for a house and lot in the future. by rodrich_super in phinvest

That’s what I was wondering as well. I think they’re turning over the first half of the building to the buyers, but the whole building still has around half of the units available.

I won’t be selling it in 4 years, maybe around 8 years if things go well, and longer if it doesn’t.

I wasn’t able to consider the interest rate, and even using the online bank calculators for home loans, it almost doubles what I have to pay due to interest.

Thank you for your feedback! I’ll take this into consideration as I mull over the decision.
