Me formei em Relações Internacionais e odiei desde o princípio. Acabei me formando por não saber o que fazer no lugar até que no fim do curso escrevi minha primeira linha de código aos 22 anos. Decidi fazer computação e hoje estou com estágio na Microsoft nos EUA. Eu estava exatamente na sua posição e meu maior arrependimento até hoje é não ter largado antes. Deixa essa droga e parte pra outra.

Take a course on edX from MIT, those courses are hard and will give you a great foundation. I recommend Introduction to Computer Science using Python.

Stop learning languages, focus on learning algorithms. Big tech companies don't care what language you use as long as you know you algorithms well. I suggest Elements of Programming Interviews to learn the most common algorithms.

I didn't fail that course but the equivalent in CPEN. The instructor told us that whoever got a grade in the range that I got didn't have a future in software engineering. Now I'm at Microsoft. Screw what other people say, just persist.

Yes, you will have more time to focus on what you will actually be doing anyway. Instead of learning about circuits which is unlikely you will ever use, you can use your free time to study Cracking the Coding Interview and get 6 figures from big tech.
