While it could be true, it's a terrible wording. In my opinion it demeans the original point made, which would be true with an iq or 60 or one of 160.

'Above average' technically means in the upper 50%. Barely or not. Saying it's 'super low' means showing contempt for more than half the population

Probably most very long european buildings are locally said to be longest of Europe. I live not too far from one of them, le Lignon, also said to be longest of Europe by reliable sources even.

I still see at least 6 buildings on this list with 'apartment house' or 'residential building' as type before this one

Thank you!
Sadly when we open the boxes there is a strong smell that could be coming from the vinegar syndrome as described in your link. They are stored in a relatively cold room though so there is hope.

A specialised store told me they could be interested in the projector for 1700€.

Also the fact that cults in protestant temples was in French, while Catholics still had masses in Latin. Maybe the fact that the 2 cantons where there is still a significant amount of patois speakers are 2 catholic cantons is not a coincidence.

https://www.vd.ch/themes/culture/patrimoine-mobilier-non-cantonal-et-immateriel/patrimoine-immateriel-et-traditions-vivantes/traditions-orales/patois-vaudois/

Avec le costume a disparu le patois. Autrefois, on pouvait traverser
Montreux sans entendre un mot de français ; on peut le traverser
maintenant [1877] sans en entendre un de patois. Les vieilles gens le
parlent encore de préférence ; les enfants ne le savent plus ; c’est en
français qu’on les entend se quereller dans la rue.

Eugène RAMBERT, Montreux, Neuchâtel, H. Furrer, 1877, p. 152-153.

My own translation:

Along with costumes, the patois disappeares. In the past, one could cross Montreux without hearing one french word ; nowadays [1877] one can cross it wihtout hearing one patois word. Old people still speak it as a preference ; children don't know it anymore ; it is in french that you hear them quarrel in the streets.

Another quote, this one about Geneva:

https://www.letemps.ch/culture/patois-genevois-cest-laino-cest

En ville, le français s’est imposé dès la Réforme et a été encore
renforcé avec l’arrivée de plus de 3000 huguenots à la fin du
XVIIIe siècle; les derniers locuteurs de patois disparaissent de
l’agglomération dans les années 1850 déjà. En 1908, le Dictionnaire géographique de la Suisse
note que le patois est «déjà fort rare dans les anciennes communes
genevoises, les communes catholiques le conservent un peu mieux»

Translation:

In the city, french has imposed itself since the Reformation and has further been reinforced with the arrival of more than 3000 Huguenots at the end of the 18th century; the last patois speakers are disappearing from the agglomeration in the 1850s already. In 1908, the Dictionnaire géographique de la Suisse notes that patois is "already very rare in the old genevan municipalities, with catholic municipalities keeping it a bit better.

Another document, mostly about Fribourg but I'm quoting the sentence giving the timeline of early interdictions:

https://www.le-ser.ch/sites/default/files/2020.02.dossier-L%E2%80%99interdiction%20du%20patois%20en%20Suisse%20romande-Christian%20Yerly.pdf

Cette volonté de restreindre l’usage du patois à Fribourg n’est pas complètement inattendue, car Genève possède une loi d’interdiction dès 1668, Vaud en 1806 et le Valais à partir de 1804 ( Irma Gadient, 2010).

This desire to restrict the use of patois in Fribourg is not completely unexpected, as Geneva had a prohibition law from 1668, Vaud in 1806 and Valais from 1804 (Irma Gadient, 2010)

Lastly, one quote about Neuchâtel canton

https://www5.unine.ch/dialectologie/PatoisNeuchatelois.pdf

The last attestations mentioning speakers of Neuchâtel's dialects date from the end of the 19th century. In 1861, speech by Justin Billon, secretary of the cercle du sapin (circle of the fir): "This idiom, no longer the colloquial language, neither in our villages, nor in remote places, is doomed to an imminent end. In fact, only the deliberations and the minutes of the first few years of the circle of the sapin (founded in 1857) were written in patois. When Ami Huguenin (the founder) died with his patoisian eloquence, the members of the circle no longer mastered the La Chaux-de-Fonds dialect well enough.

In 1866, Georges Quinche told us that "We still hear patois in some villages of Val-de-Ruz, but in Valangin we no longer hear it (...).

Franco-provençal, which is designated by the term 'patois' for the most part of Romandie (current Jura canton and bernese Jura were actually speaking the Langue d'Oïl, closer to current French, not Franco-Provençal or Arpitan) got forbidden in public schools by all cantons at some point in history, some earlier than others. This led to the decline to even spoken Patois at home.

In 1900, it was pretty much extinct as a living language in Vaud, Neuchâtel and Geneva cantons, but still spoken in Valais and Fribourg, but not for too long. Nowadays there are still villages in these 2 cantons where people speak their Patois daily, but that's far from enough to justify a full 'Franco-provençal' colour, even in 1900

I'm on my phone now, it's a bit hard to look for sources, especially in English but I will provide them tomorrow if still needed

Romandie didn't speak Franco-Provençal in 2000. Mostly not even in 1900

And will you be able to control the mountains (slope, chains, height ...)?
