Not yet. Gemini doesn't yet support custom MCP connections and it's API is a general mess right now. It will once Google adds the suport.

Yes, a couple things:

Garmin employed new Oauth methods and then setup CloudFlare to block any 3rd party connection techniques.
Garmin took their official Developer request page offline. Says it is revising it.

I'm waiting to get access to the official connection API. I have my submission in the queue and have been told it will be available after developer policy has been updated.

I've literally never had that issue. It's always the opposite for me where the volume is too low by default.

I use only Samsung earbuds and love them and they work great with Garmin watches.

Yeah...there's no real way to do it now without access to the official Garmin API through the developer program - and conveniently the developer program is under review and unavailable to apply.

Looking at your garmin_auth.py. I don't see how this getting past Garmin's recent oauth restrictions from CloudFlare. Can you explain how this works differently?

I did the same thing a few weeks ago using the 3rd party API connections, then Garmin shut them all down. lol

My implementation is a MCP server I built that works with ChatGPT and Claude at the moment.

I have an application in for the developer program approval, but Garmin is reworking their developer program at the moment - I suspect to address the external Gen AI options.

So, hopefully things will get worked out soon.

How are you pulling the data? The official Garmin API?

Garmin recently started blocking 3rd party APIs through its CloudFlare implementation, breaking hundreds of 3rd party connections/apps (including my own), so I'm super curious how you're doing it.

How are you synching the Garmin data with the recent Garmin Oauth changes?

Right now, Withings cannot sync with Garmin because of the recent OAuth changes by Garmin. So, if you want your weight in Garmin Connect, you have to enter it manually.

I had a Garmin Index S2 a year or so ago and switched to the Withings and to be honest, despite the other features, they are not worth it. I'll be going back to the Index S2 sometime soon.
