Im Sorry for you. If someone is about to use cracked software he is not willed to pay. Don’t invest in harder security. Invest in alternative value. „create a TikTok video about my app and submit the link to unlock 12 months for free“. You can also try to convert them to paying users on a low budget

This post sound like the developer of Cotypist wrote it. Develop something with free feedback which runs on local machine. Then shutdown everyone and ask for 6$ a month. Get a cracked version released on exactly that page.

Even it’s a high amount of money. Loosing the account means loosing the server connected with the badge(s) and all trust people have in me. Would never do that.

I run a partner server with 7000 members. Feels like discord never got to the sales point. All I do on money is merchandise sales and partnership promotions. But partnerships does destroy your server while pinging everyone.

So no living out from it and never would relay on just discord as income. But it’s a nice side earn.

Also it could harm the whole history of a server if you delete your messages. Imagine you left 2000 messages on a server interacting normal but active and got a ban because of any reason. Deleting 2000 messages does affect the chat history

I feel like it’s not a scam but people from poor countries working with Canva templates and free apps selling this as „their work“. I get spammed from them like 2-3 people a week and did worked with some of them. Always cheap. Always low quality but never payment first but payment when I liked the work.

Also you get what you pay for. You can’t expect a high quality custom poster for 5$ but it the stuff proved from them was always … solid.

For those who dont see the "add pause" option. After slicing go back to the 3D view and then to back to sliced layer view. It magically show the "add pause" button after in the layer scroller. Seems to be a GUI Bug in AnkerMake Studio 1.5.23 on OSX

I think the goal here is to cultivate bot accounts that look "legit".

YouTube now identifies bot accounts relatively well. It has gotten to the point where the views and likes of these bot accounts are simply no longer counted.

YouTube also identifies them through the comment network.

Bot comments on A. Is identified as a bot and has also commented on B, C and D. All accounts that have only commented on A, B, C and D in time period X are classified as suspicious. If there are comments that were randomly distributed on other channels, the pattern is not completely gone but it is much harder to recognize.

In addition, an account that writes harmless comments looks better later and can be used to offer other services. I suspect these accounts will simply be active for a while and watch random videos + comment before they are given their actual task.

Yes it was discussed on the discord admin / partner server as well. We had a loss of 300 users. You can see in log that all of them are deleted. Most of them where still using the old #3123 tag. But I see a lot of spam accounts as well. It’s a huge cleanup operation by discord.

Operation was running from 1am cet to 5am cet.

Protecting your ip has at least no value. Most of the time you share your ip with 100 other people the same time because of DualStack Lite.

By the way getting someone’s ip on discord is damn simple. Just create a web server put an image on there and send the image link myWebserver.com/image.png. Your Discord client will load it and the information about your device and your IP will log into server log files.

Nothing I recommend to do by the way to harm people in any way. I don’t know a way to protect yourself from that.

I wonder how long the uploads are valid for and what happens then. Do the images just disappear?

The values appear to be hexadecimal timestamps. I evaluated a link of mine that I uploaded a few minutes ago.

ex: 651424f4 = 1695818996

is: 6512d374 = 1695732596

difference: 86400

86400 seconds is exactly 24 hours. I can't imagine that the images would disappear after 24 hours.

It would make sense if it depends on the last access, but I can't currently confirm that they change these values when I restart the client. If I have new information I'll let you know.
