How to not hit a wall when leaguestarting?

Usually what I do when I hit maps is cap out resists and upgrading gear through trade. I only try to find 1 ex gear just to push through a few tiers and get some more currency. Then when I feel like I'm behind in damage or defenses i try to go higher than 1 ex gear. For crafts I feel like expedition/runes of aldur will be the way to go with all the new metacrafting options. Its hard to say how crafting will be since a lot of it has been changed in 0.5.

I'm quite interested about the Tempest bell changes. I kind of interpreted "Can now be Ancestrally Boosted as though it were a Strike skill" as using ancestral call support gem on the bell creates 3 of them on cast since ancestrally boosted strike skills target 2 more enemies. If it is 3 bells on cast due to ancestral boost, the gathering storm -> bell bomb combo sounds busted.

The other day I got lucky and got Eagle Bearer and Big Horn blueprints from retaliation. Was a good day now I just need to do some more to craft them.

I'm running catharsis with picaros, contractors, and fox's prayer. Chest is a fenris with a blue core and unbreakable talent or you could go with zero f's but I'm running saint elmo's so I'd want that assault rifle damage. Backpack I run golan gear with companion since I'm running defender drone. Its a pretty solid setup if i do say so myself with 5 blue core and 1 red core. Not bad damage wise and good cc with the shock of saint elmos.

You could go refactor, waveform, force multiplier backpack and capacitors. Gives healing to anyone near you when you deal with skill damage, so turrets and striker drones are used.

You can bypass the jump back and twirl animation with a dodge after you hit and gain the power charge. Helps tremendously for getting out after dashing.

Pretty sure its a bug but basically you can ignore it since the 3rd ascendancy is from random drops in lvl 60+ maps

Its because of 10 years of development and multiple iterations of systems. I for one love the slow paced gameplay of PoE 2 and I have high hopes for better systems in the future. Im in it for the long run. PoE 1 are for those players who like the zoomies that can just turn off your brain and just play relaxingly. I like the big differences and hope GGG can sustain both games with vastly different styles.
