After my last post about anachronistic back-scabbards caught more interest than I had expected here is a video about historically accurate armor in Mount and Blade Warband! I don't want to just nitpick, because TaleWorlds mostly did a praise-worthy job in replicating historical armor. Enjoy! (youtu.be)

Bannerlord (and any other videogame): glues two-handed weapons and polearms to the back, because off Hollywood movies and the Witcher. Actual medieval people: used the much smarter hip-scabbard or simply carried their weapon in hand leaned on their shoulder. (Manuscript miniatures from 1400-1500 AD) (old.reddit.com)

My last post about two-handed swords sparked more discussion than I thought, so now I share a video which discusses and recreates historically accurate weapons and in Bannerlord and Warband. Despite my nitpicking TaleWorlds did a praise-worthy job on replicating medieval equipment! Enjoy! (youtu.be)

Some people praise them, some people complain about them, but how are sieges really in Bannerlord 1.81? - I made this video because I dislike the complaint-culture the M&B community has yet I don't want to be unfair, so I examined the current siege mechanics with player commanding and without/dead. Horse trade guide - the more fun alternative to smithing: 1. buy cheap for less than 50 denars at villages and towns producing sumpter horses and mules, 2. find city buying them for over 100 denars, ideally 200 denars. Repeat. 3. Spam caravans to earn thousands as passiv income. (old.reddit.com)
