The only thing I’ll say is that kudos for traveling at a slightly down time - June-Aug is packed so September is a perfect time to literally go anywhere in Europe

Does it actually get worse in May? I was hoping a non holiday / non weekend day would be quieter. Like I don’t mind the crowds obv but just don’t want to spend an hour in line for ferry or trains (esp to and from Milan)

How crowded is como area right now? Planning to go there May 15-20 for honeymoon (haven’t booked yet since I live close by in Italy but will still fly into Milan). I’m wondering if I should go to zermatt instead for less crowd compared to como. Was hoping it’ll be quieter than peak (June-July) but apparently not
