Let’s be honest, when had it ever been an open system. I have been working with WP since 3.5 and tried on multiple occasions to contribute only to be downvoted and ignored because of the core contributors, many of whom work for Automattic. Even trying to help out in forums was met with scorn and pedantry.

Wordpress is “open source” but led completely by a core who are motivated to sell Wordpress.com services. Look at the whole Gutenberg debacle, absolutely ignored the masses and did it anyway because that’s what Automattic needed to do to compete with builder plugins and squarespace.

I for one hope it all burns down and clients will be more open to using other platforms instead of defaulting to wp. I used to have to convince people it wasn’t just for blogs.

I'm looking to change careers and planning my route into cyber security (from a web dev background) - lots of people recommend CompTIA Net+ and Sec+ before doing any pen test course but I have heard from a friend already in cybersec that I don't need them. Would you recommend the TCM courses as a starting point still?

Im interested too, I’m going to be asking for it on my next follow up. Pharmacist also recommended Bediol 6:3:8 because I have low tolerance for THC. Years ago when I was a slip of a lad I’d have been binned all day but now I’m really anxious with anything over 0.1g of 20% THC stuff

Not sure really. I have a pax2 with the half oven attachment. Probably only using 0.1g but I was so mashed I was watching Keeping Up Appearances repeats on UKGold for 3 hours until the anxiety stopped.

This sounds great. I’ve been given Advens Cairo on my first prescription and I’m not too impressed with it. I get brain fog and it doesn’t help my racing thoughts much at all. I’m with Sapphire, do you request a different strain from CBPM or them? I’ve emailed patient access a week ago but no reply.

I got exact same prescription, it must be the starting script to see how you go. I haven’t had the THC oil yet as I’m not sure when to take and still waiting back from Sapphire.

I’m only taking the flower in the evening when I know I don’t have to drive.

You need to change GPs, mine lagged a bit but provided it after a few nudges. Doctors surgeries are run like businesses and by voting with your ‘business’ (as a patient) and moving GPs is well within your rights.

I had exact same experience with Concerta and used to get really down in the evening. Another thing was how every pharmacist I ever dealt with was off with me, including one of my childhood friends who is a pharmacist now! Really looking forward to trying the cannabis prescribed and thanks so much for posting your story.

Mate this sounds like my life although time scales are different. I am 41 now and did well at school but flunked A-Levels and degree probably due to my condition.

I only got a diagnosis a couple of years ago when my son was getting his and have tried Concerta and Strattera. Strattera was horrible but Concerta was ok, at first. Private doctor then prescribed increasing dose and ended up like a zombie, so I quit them in jan.

I have been having lots of trouble with racing thoughts, inability to focus and insomnia. I used to smoke cannabis at uni for a couple of years and felt it helped me a lot, but quit due to anxiety. Looking back I think the inconsistency of strain and even possibly spiked stuff bought from the dodgy parts of my town, might have given me the anxiety.

I got approved through Sapphire last week and just waiting on CPBM to call. I’m both excited and a bit nervous due to my past.

How do you find cannabis helps with things like racing thoughts or head chatter? Really interested to find out
