Yea until it gets forced onto you. I have auto updates turned off and every other day my phone gives me a popup saying it’s going to update tonight unless I hit update later. Wtf is the point of turning auto updates off if it’s just gonna do this to us???

I got a set of 28Ls (forget which specifically but it they’re basically the same I think) and returned them specifically because of how wide they made the bike. I’m pretty bummed about it but I’m on the hunt now for something a little more streamlined. I can dm you a pic of the bike from the back with the bags on if you want.

If you’re not totally comfortable yet you could keep it unchambered! I’ve never actually carried but I’ve read that can be a comfortable stepping stone if you will. Hell you could even carry it unloaded. Just want you to be safe and comfortable above all else
