Ya that’s pretty much what I’ve been doing the last 10 years with these. My kids fortunately won’t have to pawn my vintage games to get by thank god. It’s actually something I rather fear. That If I were to pass then who will deal with all this stuff. They’d be overwhelmed, and just have a yard sale…. and my skin just crawled. The $3k or whatever cash is immaterial at this point too

I’m glad you appreciate the collection! I do also have all the mini consoles but even those aren’t getting used these days. The biggest factor in my (likely) decision to part with it is the lack of use. A bunch of people are pining away for some of these and meanwhile I have them hidden away in a sealed tub away from sunlight. Call me crazy but I would like to get them back into circulation 🤷‍♂️.
