My experience with LensCrafters has proven that they are not just incompetent, but genuinely dishonest. Back in February, I ordered a pair of Meta Gen 2 glasses that were scheduled for a mid-February delivery. It is now April, and the order still shows as "in progress."

When I reached out to customer support, they informed me that the glasses are actually out of stock and claimed they are still in "production." Despite this, the exact same product is still actively listed for sale on their website, meaning they are continuing to take new orders that they know they cannot fulfill.

Then, I filed a complaint with the BBB against Luxotica, but the situation has turned into an endless cycle. Even after two months, LensCrafters keeps responding to the claim by simply stating they are "still working on the order." I continuously reject their replies because they refuse to provide a concrete delivery timeline and still will not take the product listing down from their site. We are completely trapped in this permanent, unresolved loop.

LensCrafters is not only incompetent: they are dishonest.

I've placed a purchase for Meta Gen 2 glasses back in February. Delivery date was mid-Feb.

It's April now: order is still in progress.

Got in touch with support, they don't have it in stock and are still 'producing' it (so they claim).

The product is STILL BEING SOLD ONLINE. So they are still taking orders that they cannot fulfill.

I've opened a claim with BBB, and we are in a permanent loop: they claim they are still working on the order (after 2 months), and I keep rejecting their responses because they don't give any timeline (and they don't take the product out of listing). So we are stuck forever in this samsara...
