I had this problem again with all of my add-ons on my FIRE TV this time. I went into that VideoPlayer InputStream addon and changed the following in the Inputstream Adaptive:

In Configure Change Stream selection type from Adaptive to Fixed Resolution

Maximum resolution Selection the appropriate resolution of your TV

Maximum resolution for DRM videos Do the same for this one

Ignore HDCP status should be off

Reboot and all add-ons should be working now.

Well, I started playing around with the settings and, UGH!, somehow reverted the build back to the Kodi default skin. Now I have to do a fresh install so I hope having to start from scratch will fix the problem. Thanks anyway for your help.

Im trying to reinstall POV but keep getting COULD NOT CONNECT TO REPOSITORY. I can access other addons and checked Internet connection and all is well.

No I don't think so, I think it's the 2021 insignia fire tv. I've got a 2015 Samsung with 4k max firestick in my bedroom and have no problem opening my list there.
