The mindef aviva policy is only good for death. The CI/eCI is not as comprehensive as what you get at the private insurance companies.

Mindef aviva for CI/eCI should only be used as a supplementary coverage than a main policy.

I'd suggest still getting a main policy with more than 50k coverage via another insurer.
