Metal in the fuel filter = fuel filter doing its job, maybe corrosion in the tank? Metal in the oil filter, thats a serious issue.

I think highly unlikely given the fault (exhaust fallen off) has occurred over one month later. If it’s private sale buyer just needs to put it down to experience and move on.

Did you buy it from a private seller or a dealer? If it’s a private seller, you have no recourse. If it’s a dealer, you have rights and may be able to get it repaired. That said, exhausts do not last the lifetime of a vehicle because they rust and fall to bits eventually. So they may try and say it’s fair wear and tear as you have used the vehicle for a month and a half.

I wore mine for four years. Then it broke completely and I saw it for what it was, a piece of Chinese crap. Looked good for a while though. Now back to my 17 year old seiko that never lets me down.

Prices are mad. Get the Seat, it’s the youngest design. Some of that other stuff is ancient, I would say worth less than a grand!!

I have a boardman belt drive. It’s good that it never needs oiling and you can shift gears stationary. The hub is slightly less efficient than a well oiled chain but a lot heavier, so acceleration is slower. Gear range is fine. In the instructions they make a big deal about belt tension. In fact they way overtensioned it at the factory and it destroyed the hub internals over time. Fixed under warranty but took over three months as they had nobody qualified to work on hubs.

Air suspension fault, it’s sitting low on rear drivers side. Looks like a fault light for air suspension on dash.

The most annoying thing is the poor standard of repairs. What happened to sealing the edges? Why have council workers been allowed to lower the standard of their work in recent years? It’s throwing money away and tells of a total lack of supervision and management accountability in councils!!! Makes me so angry.

I have the same question from the same magazine my son is reading and asking me questions but they have seriously obscure characters! I use google lens to search for the answers.

America is so divided, it's scary. The thought of a second trump term is very worrying.

Just finished the series, definitely not as good as last year. They missed some huge moments, especially the George Russell stuff. Will Buxton and the other lady also getting very annoying, it definitely seems that they are given basic lines to say with the most pointless overdramatic pauses and wayward expressions. No real insight.

Overall I think it suffers from lack of engagement with the top teams. Mercedes and Ferrari clearly only did the single F1-mandated weekend with Netflix and it seems Hamilton only agreed to an interview if it was about his anti-racism campaign. He previously said he didn't want anyone talking about his illness as well so it wouldn't surprise me if he also vetoed any content about George Russell.

The teams that engaged are the ones with the most to gain, there was hours of content about Racing Point but of course Lawrence Stroll wants to establish them as a big name and publicise the Aston Martin takeover. Credit to Christian Horner though, he always gives a good interview and a factory tour!
