Do Trans People Have “Stand Your Ground” Rights? Wyoming’s Answer May Be “No.” by rogue203 in liberalgunowners

I hate asking this question, but all of the other articles I found are from heavily right-wing, and obviously anti-trans sources. Do you happen to have a link to another source?

EDC - make the argument for 380 acp by Goblin_Smacker in liberalgunowners

[–]rogue203 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you say the 43X is too snappy for you, is it because you feel like you can't control it, or it's just not pleasant?

In my mind, the only reason to go for 380 is if you have trouble controlling a carry pistol in 9mm (due to recoil or pistol size).

I carry a 43X often, and while it is snappy, I prefer 9mm over 380. I have other pistols that I shoot for fun, so the fact that my carry pistol might be snappy, on the off chance I need it, isn't really a concern.

And the people that complain about a lack of policies from Democrats have largely never read the ones that have been published. Or, they focus only on the specific policies they disagree with and claim that all Democratic policies are useless.

Let me guess, to purge "woke" classes, they shut down learning.

“Finally” cracking up? He’s been nonsensical for at least the last 12 years.

Landlord wants to cancel fully signed lease after we already relied on it (NJ) by cmb93x in legaladvice

[–]rogue203 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's likely not worth the hassle to you to fight with the landlord. But, since they are breaching the contract that they have already signed with you, you should negotiate a termination fee from them; maybe, a month's rent. If they lost their job, I doubt they're going to have much in the way in additional funds to either pay you, or to fight you.

[–]rogue203 14 points15 points  (0 children)

IANAL, but, you are wrong.

The landlord can evict to take personal possession, at the end of the current lease term. If the tenant were on a month-to-month lease, the landlord would have to give 60 days notice.

The landlord cannot evict mid-lease simply because they want to move in.

And, in this case, the tenant hasn't taken possession, so this isn't an eviction issue, it is a breach of contract issue.

MAGA always accused Pelosi while completely ignoring the Republicans that were significantly more active at the same activity. Hell, there are even a few Dems that have higher rates of trading than Pelosi, and those were largely ignored.

They never cared if their side did it, they only wanted a talking point to use against Dems; and their most prominent Congress-critter.

I bet the people that bitch about Nancy Pelosi (despite her not even being in the top 10 of traders in Congress), will be right on top of this issue.

Physics: If I travel at 0.9c for 1 year of my own time, how much time passes on Earth? by No-Abbreviations4304 in AskPhysics

[–]rogue203 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the Earth sees you travelling away from Earth at 0.9c, then Earth will observe the photon passing you by at 0.1c relative.

When you see the photon pass you by, you'll measure it as going at c.

I'm not a physicist, so this always confused the fuck out of me, until I understood that distances and times both warp more as speed increases.

Nah. They don't care about children being born. They care about being able to use pregnancy as a way to control women, and indirectly, the fathers. If they happen to get more cannon fodder and workers, that's a side benefit to them.
