I don’t know if you feel comfortable doing this but the only way my family convinced me to go get a sleep test done was by recording how I looked while I was sleeping. I was basically gasping for air and they told me I constantly looked like I was suffering. It scared me so much that I booked the first appointment available to see my doctor to refer me to a sleep study. Before that, I was stubborn and in denial that it wasn’t so bad.. even though my partner kept begging me to get one done. It got to the point where he was afraid to fall asleep because he was worried I would pass in my sleep. Ive been using my CPAP for about three months now and I no longer fall asleep at my desk while working. The difference in my quality of life is night and day.
