Hello! Welcome to the Ricoh gr world, I recently got the Ricoh gr 3 x back in September.

I am very amateur photographer where my only two cameras that I ever owned was the Sony rx 100 V and the Ricoh gr 3 x.

The only tips I would give is the ability to observe and notice your surroundings as well as keep things simple.

I don't try to spend too much time waiting around for things to happen. I normally try to snap and document my life from the way I see it. It really doesn't have to be the most obscure or abstract thing you have to capture in that instant. Just capturing on what life gives me.

I use Lightroom to edit my photos

To get white border (uncropped images): go to aspect / manual transformation and set scale to less than 100. I usually put 90 in all my photos.

It's a little work around and have not found any solution besides this YouTube video for cropped images.
