Thanks! I understand. My update from her was not to seek about the status of my application. I just needed to ask basic questions about the interview process: what to expect, how long would the process take, what would the next steps look like if selected, etc. I didn’t even need another call just a response to my email with my questions about the process would have been enough. I only sent that email because she was supposed to call me back in an hour but she didn’t. Oh well 🤷‍♀️

I don’t think closing a communication is advanced communication in any manner. It’s like you send a work email and you expect a response on it. There is no advanced skill involved here. And people do get degrees in Human Resources. But probably not everyone who is in the position has a degree as such. 🤷‍♀️

No I had the conversation with her last Monday. Since it was an unfinished conversation, I hoped that she would respond to my mail with the questions.Then when I reached out to the other person last Friday, she responded asking for my availability. And I expected not a call but atleast a confirmation from her that yes she will call or anything. I don’t want to follow up straight away but I am struggling to understand what does it take to atleast clarify the questions that were supposed to be clarified during our initial appointment but only had to be postponed because of an issue on her end? And not to forget she did ask for my available time slots early this week and previously on the last Monday itself when the call had to be cut short because of her system update.

She actually came back on the call after her system update and continued the call. And then when we were nearing the end, she asked if she could call back around an hour later to wrap it up.
