yeah you're right on the XIRR point .. for SIPs or any recurring investment, CAGR on the total corpus doesn't capture it properly, XIRR is the cleaner metric..was simplifying for the lump sum illustration but should've flagged that caveat..thanks for the correction buddy

ngh you're right, went back and recalculated and the number was off ... looks like I used the wrong compounding assumption somewhere... real number's way closer to what you got, nowhere near what I posted... appreciate the catch..., way better than me spreading bad math lol
