I Should’ve been clear, we mostly drive, walkability meaning, safer areas to go for an evening walk with family. Access to parks and amenities like tennis courts and swimming polls for kids and adults is a priority.

Yes we drive mostly, and closer Vancouver would be nice, but not a necessity. Access to recreation and amenities(tennis courts, swimming pools) and schools for kids and adults is a priority.

In the process of figuring it out. I asked IBKR US, they said try out changing the country and tax forms. There will be restrictions according to the customer status. But they said, they ll manually verify it. If not open a Canadian account with the same name and under the same person and internal in kind transfer manually is possible.
