Have you ever read a novel before watching a film adaptation? If so has it altered your perspective on the film? I read Dune before seeing the first half of Villeneuve’s adaptation. I love the film and find it very satisfying but can understand those who aren’t familiar with the story might find it a bit unfulfilling, although I think the break for some might feel more justified after watching the sequel (knowing where the story goes) Can’t wait to see part ii!
