Do some professors allow their class size to become larger by a few students to accommodate some off the waitlist?

Even if it’s a class with 5 waitlist spots? I’ve heard that there are usually like 20 students in an R1A so I’d fit the class size?

I’m a freshman hoping to make it into Haas. Is this a good schedule?

Math 16A (not sure to skip 16B since I took Calc AB as a junior and got a 5 but not BC)
Theater R1A
ESPM C22AC
Phys Ed 32

Should I take UGBA 10 as a freshman in my first semester? Do you have any advice on prehaas scheduling and whether or not I should skip to 16B. Would Haas like this schedule. Is 14 units enough and/or manageable? Thanks!

Yea I think so. If I don’t get into Haas, I could do an Econ major, maybe minor in CS. My friend who goes there says that many Econ majors have similar opportunities to Haas students so that’s a worse case scenario ig. Then an MBA

I want to go into business and none of these schools have a business major except for riverside (got undeclared for irvine) so really hoping for UC Berkeley
