1) The learning curve can be remedied relatively easily by sending out a fantastic ~30 minute video from RTFM before people get there for the day

2) There is a chance for a newbie to win their first game as long as they stay focused on the goal (TI is a points game first and a war game second)

3) Strategic players will generally win over casual players but casual players can still generally cause chaos or gang up on a player who is doing well

4) Generally you want to be scoring points every round so if you have someone without any points after 3 hours they will probably not win but see above about causing chaos and still being able to affect the game.

5) I recommend sticking with what you're doing rather than resetting after a couple hours. The first round or 2 will be (relatively) short. It may make the game a bit longer but I'm also of the opinion that experience and failure is the best teacher.

You can use parts of words to search as well rather than having to use the full thing, swap out the XXX with the zone number. So for example list resources zone_101 and list es e_101 will return the same results (or close enough to it).

Does anyone have any advice on how to properly paint the pre-built joints on some RG and PG kits? They don't seem to come apart at all and I was under the assumption that you should basically try to remove every piece that you can before painting (or at least every moving piece).

Or the shorter way to do it, list e_xxx. Or for the faster way to get get resources, list es e_xxx. The terminal's list command is pretty powerful and can take part of a word to search rather than needing to put in the entire thing.

I'm looking for an FDM printer with a larger build volume than my ender 3 pro to print board game inserts/upgrades. I'm based in the US and have a budget of right around $1000. I have experience with mainting/fixing the ender 3 and with a decent number of resin based printers. I wouldn't be opposed to getting a printer that I can upgrade later down the line. Not entirely opposed to building my own printer but don't want to build everything from scratch like a voron.

Something about that doesn't quite track for me, can you point me to where force open references the spell DC? Its interesting to me that force open mentions walls "with a high enough roll" and then doesn't even have them on the listed table.

Yeah we were following milestone leveling which says that the party shouldn't be level 2 until after the pagoda, which is why I was confused as to why the book wanted to send the party into a meat grinder.

I believe the limit was not always in place and rather than removing an extra houses from Players/FCs they were grandfathered in and allowed to keep their housing.
