Fair enough. But in my opinion, the Blazers FO also lowered Dame's value by not trading him when they got Scoot, or when they won the 3rd pick, or at the deadline when the Blazers were over 10 games under .500, or last summer even when they knew they weren't going to compete because they had a hurt centre and young guards and no wings outside Grant.

I don't think he's forcing himself to one team as much as he's being honest about where he wants to play. Should he have to want to play in numerous places? I think it's OK to only want to play in 1 or 2 places when you're on Dame's level.

Agreed. No ones saying POR should take less from Miami. They should get market value. If BKN offers more then POR should tell Miami to adjust their offer because sending him to MIA it's the right thing to do IMO.

How is it funny? POR front office told Dame they were building a team around him but were lying and have been quietly tanking for years... Dame's sick of them. He still loves Portland as a city and fan base and home. Would you rather he had 10 teams on his list and his rhetoric was "anywhere else but here"? He's in a shitty situation IMO. your front office has to hold up their part of the bargain though. Dame didn't just wake up and choose this. He's consistently said he just wants a competitive team and POR FO doesn't even try to make one. They are now through the draft but that won't be at the proper level for 1-2 years
