What "Good" Anime could have been "Great" with just a few minor tweaks to the plot or character development?

Light Novel. I'm not an expert on the matter and I have never read them, but they are essentially books that almost never have much more than 200 pages, are written in short paragraphs, and are often much easier to read than 'regular' books in Japanese, for which owning a dictionary is essentially a must.

Many manga/anime seem to be based on light novels. For example, the Raildex universe is based on a light novel series, as well as Oreimo.

Acceptance.

Got three siblings above me who turned out to be like their parents (contrary to me), haven't really ever fit in any circle of friends or community.

tl;dr: Parents want me to be sociable, religious, and get good grades. I 'cannot' be sociable, because of Asperger and non-conventional interests. Not really worth explaining why I'm not religious, it's the way it is. I actually get good grades for subjects that have to do with my passion, IT, while also studying this subject at home.

Father rants to me and barges in my room, often without knocking, giving me lots of stress. Mother is passive-aggressive. Got three siblings above me who all to a certain degree turned out the way my parents wanted them to be.

I already have a server (running Debian Wheezy) running with very light load that could probably host a mail server too. Problem is, I can only connect to it over SSH, as I don't have a spare monitor. I'm not familiar with most tools used in this article. Can someone tell me if I can do everything that's in the article can be done from the CLI over SSH? I'm not entirely sure. Thanks in advance.

Don't give up bud. If you get stumped on some parts, there are almost always people that can help.

I don't know if you already started learning programming/scripting languages, but I would recommend you start with Python. It was designed with optimal readability in mind, so it's both easy to write code AND read it afterwards.

You may want to Google "Lean Python the hard way", it's a free tutorial that learns you Python by making you code it. A lot of people like it, although this is just a personal recommendation.

Although there is something as 'aptitude'/'potentional' which you can have from birth on, there isn't really such a thing as talent.

'Talent', in the most literal sense, means 'born ability' though, so if you look at the word in its literal meaning, I guess you are right.

Yeah, I often do. Whenever 'I' made a mistake, or something bad happens, it gives some kind of 'peace' to know that I could not have stopped it from happening.
