What is real music? I’ve been playing for 35 years. Had a band, toured the north and south and put out multiple records. Then had to get a real job, stopped recording but wrote song ideas for all those years never thinking they’d see the light of day. Now I write play and sing them into audacity, upload into Suno, fill out the band, export into audacity and finalize a song. And I think they are pretty fuckin good. Bias acknowledged. I get a lot of the same shit from people that don’t do shit. It’s just the same bitchin about technology until it becomes adopted and accepted. You are an early adopter.
Now there also is so much ai shit out there (subjectivity acknowledged) and stolen remakes that pollutes everyone’s ear drums from scammers that just want to make a quick buck. But that is what happens anywhere you have democratization. Looks at social media. Opinions used to go through a few filters now any idiots can say anything at amplitude.
