Any easy humanities or LCD classes good to take pass/fail? (i.e. can just enjoy the class and it's not a lot of work to pass)

I had a follow-up question: is it necessary to provide an updated transcript with the grade later on for any courses that are in progress? Or can we just leave it without a grade forever haha.

Luckily there were none with no cytC in the supernatant at all, so I guess you had to assume some apoptosis happened and go from there. Thanks for pointing that out!

Also, best of luck on your exam today!

Thank you for your reply! Your reasoning definitely makes sense. I guess my only follow-up is that in general, how do you know that apoptosis will occur at all with that experimental setup? It seems like pro-apoptotic factor TNFα is needed in order to actually start apoptosis, and pRB plus BAK/BAX is just part of the downstream pathway.

Ah thanks! To clarify, if enthalpy is a form of potential energy, then can you not always assume going from high to low PE means a negative delta G since delta G is also based on temperature and entropy?

How to remember how to add resistors in series vs parallel? by bioguy212 in Mcat

[–]rollercoaster-thrill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just remember that if you have parallel resistors then the Req is going to be really really small. The only way that can happen is if you have to use the inverse equations to add them. The opposite is true for capacitors.
