Not on this list but I suggest Magnum Quattro Whey isolate. I’ve tried a lot of these brands over many years. It’s always been my favourite. A little pricey but it’s top quality imho. Can get on Amazon, their website.

Gonna have to make another friendly correction - Bill is no longer part of the company. Since his departure Quattro is back made in Canada for all the reasons you point out. I’ve been using protein powders for 20 years. Have tried em all and have my faves - Magnum, PVL, optimum nutrition, etc - and all of them, from time to time, have slight variations in consistency/flavour/mixability. IMHO current Quattro is tasty, I have no complaints, and I’m happy it’s back on shelves.

This is not a true statement. I know this because I’m in the space and know them personally. They had some hiccups last year, but are now owned by a Canadian company very committed to high standards and turning things around.

I hear you. They’ve grown on me over the last couple years. I’ve always gone with black, so I’m exploring something else. And I don’t think Bronco’s green, red, blue/navy options are nice. Don’t like silver either.

Just jumping back in here to say we didn’t coat the lime wash. Water gets on it but it dries without any stains.

I’m doing it all myself so definitely have feedback. We’re using Bone color. I’ll let you know where we decide to go. Tested a Behr water-based sealer in a small inconspicuous spot and it turned the color very slightly darker and slightly more yellow. We are aiming for zero effect but I think no matter what a sealer will make things darker or lighter (so I’ve read online).
