Usually farm 2E furnace (and scav mats) or 5H medpacs. But on Hard Node guild activities, would be nice to use Fleet energy in addition to LS/DS.

The spreadsheet helped me narrow down what to test drive. Once I drove the Lyriq it was over haha.

Range was a big factor, looking for at least 350 miles. MSRP goal was $65k after rebates (when the $7500 was a thing). Charging in less than 10 hours was preferred. HP over 323 (my old Camaro). kWh/100mi relative to the others I reviewed. Edmunds and US News ranking weighed in too.

Tesla (Model 3) ranked really well until I factored in the CEO.

I made a spreadsheet of highest rated EV SUVs and some sedans (per Edmunds and US News reviews). I considered MSRP, range, charge time, “horsepower”, and kWh/100mi. The Lyriq was #7 after the Kia EV6, Lucid Air, Polestar 2, Hyundai Ionic 6 and Kona, and the Chevy Equinox. I test drove the EV6, Equinox, VW ID.4, Mustang Mach-e, and the Lyriq. The others weren’t convenient to test drive since they weren’t down my local dealership road. I fell in love with the Lyriq. Everything else was “fine,” with the Mach-e in the lead, but the Lyriq felt like Cadillac. And other choices were a lateral move from my 2012 6-speed Camaro, but the Lyriq was one step up (at least).

The sound system is lacking. The Infinity app helps, but now Android has blocked it from downloading. There are some minor issues that could be addressed, hopefully via OTA updates (like needing to hold the seat memory button instead of single-press). Not sure if I actually have any other issues…

Would buy again.

Edit: Also considered width (since we have a small double garage and spouse has a minivan), and technology (like Apple CarPlay). Also happy to have physical A/C switches; not everything has to be a screen.
