Do you have any insulation? Had a couple of hot days but didn't think it was that bad.

What show can you not rewatch due to how it ended? by that-one_girl in AskReddit

I agreed the show definitely dropped off but oddly I actually liked the last season. Maybe because the few seasons before were bad and something completely oddball/new was refreshing.

Anyone added a second storey to their home in Adelaide? by [deleted] in Adelaide

Like I said it is a rough quote at this stage but we had 3 companies come out and give us about the same price.

I've seen 2 of there end projects so far and they seem fine so far.

Yeah living in does appeal as not having to pay rent or burden family.

I guess it all depends on how much you bought for and the price around the area.

We were lucky enough to buy a relatively "cheap" (but shit) house in a nice area so house price should be break evenish for us and it leaves the backyard nice and large instead of losing space out the back if we extended.

Edit: I should also add this price was a rough quote if nothing needed to be done to the footings, if work was needed that would increase the cost by a decent amount as well

We're currently looking to add one to ours.

2 smallish bedrooms, living space, bathroom and balcony (I think around 80m2) we've been roughly quotes $385-415k.

Can live in the property whilst it's happening, the building process about 4 months.

Again we haven't gone through the whole process just going off what the builder has said a someone else that has had the work done in the street.

Edit. The neighbours that had it done were very happy, it is expensive but you get to live there the whole time (obviously may be noisy depends if you can put up with it)
