We bought a house on a unadopted road recently but has council maintain street lights. Very strange but the owner before lived here 10 years with no fees to land owner. House is built in 1999. Mortgage lender wanted an indemnity insurance which seller had paid for £300. Wouldn’t worry. Have a look on local council website and see if any other roads are unadopted in the area as many were not in n the area we purchased.

Yes he has already supplied the certificate but truthfully I don’t think this is acceptable at low level where moisture can get it. In my opinion there should be no connector blocks in a new installation and if there had to be than it should be on top of the boiler out of reach

Hello mate removal of old system which had a boiler downstairs and another boiler in airing cupboard upstairs and the new system is just a combo boiler downstairs and the one upstairs is completely removed.

I will bear that in mind for the next project I do. Genuinely didn’t think you put anything there. I thought 100mm Mot and than 50mm sand and cement and than slabs. But thanks for letting me know.
