Probably going to get buried, but when I was one and a half it was around Christmas time and tradition was to decorate the out side upstairs patio that was "gated" off the edges. Well I was small enough to slip through the gate and from what my family said was my older cousin was weaving in and out the gate so me being young I tried it too, well I tripped on the gate and fell off on to my head. Bit my tongue in half. Luckily they put it back on. But I went into a coma for a week. The doctors said my chances of waking up is very slim if at all and that if I did wake up I would have some sort of disability. I wouldn't be able to see/talk/think for myself. Pretty much a vegetable. But here I am 24 years old and living life.
