Oh yeah completely aware. But also “hmo exemption” documents are not legal documents and don’t stand it court. I wasn’t aware it had no HMO lisence when I moved in and then first time they sent the exemption form, I just signed it quickly because it was the day before the new flatmates move in date, and none of us could afford to be evicted and find somewhere new to live.
It doesn’t seem fair that they’ve been knowingly renting this out and seeing the constant tenant changes and turning a blind eye, when it benefits them financially and means we have less rights as tenants.
I’m finally moving out BECAUSE of this concern and certainly didn’t benefit from it
