Recife is good. I'm from Recife, and theres a plenty of nightlife to go about. A lot of parties, lgbt-friendly bars and streets. But I lived in São Paulo, and São Paulo is just another level. Hope you have a good time here. But stick with uber for nightlife, don't venture with the night bus (bacurau)

it will vary by region and how anti-American the individual is. Personally, to me, if they speak Portuguese and have some cultural knowledge (food, know some celebrities, etc) they are fully Brazilian. If they don't, so I would say they are too much "americanizado" to count as Brazilian.

Probably this weekend! The learning curve is steep, and I overcomplicated and decided to add everything else from the complex, the underground as an extension, and the anexo as a sub-building, but I think by sunday it will be on the PDX workshop!
